Air in the kitchen cold water line

We are all set up on our first night in our '75 Trade Wind. All is going well and this forum has really helped me out getting and being prepared for this maiden voyage. One thing I am finding, now, is that the kitchen sink cold water line spurts a couple times every time it is used. The bathroom sink does not do it, just the kitchen. Any ideas on why air is getting in there? Or how to correct it? Thanks

It might just be air in the line. Is the fresh water tank full? You might try just letting the water run until all of the air is purged from the line. If that is the problem, it should only take a few glasses worth of water to get a constant stream. Otherwise, report back for more guesses...

We are using a water hookup and not the tank. It spurts 2-3 times each time it is turned on and I have let it run for about a minute with no more spurts. But next time it is turned on, it spurts.
