Adding Solar Panels

I have a 2021 25'FC with the pre wired solar package installed. Can I now have the panels added to the roof and connect to the outlets there, or get a portable panel and hook it the the solar outlets near the propane tanks, and be on my way. Or is there other equipment I need to get in order to use the solar set up?

You’ll need a solar charge controller if you add panels to the roof.

Many portable panels (including Zamp) come with charge controllers and they can be plugged directly into the port. If I’m not mistaken, the polarity of Zamp panels is reversed compared to some other brands. The port on your Airstream is likely wired specifically for a Zamp portable panel. It’s something to be aware of, and potentially modify if you choose another brand.
