A good idea gone bad?

Are Airstream Blogs a good idea for us here? First of all, let me say that the Blogs that I have had time (a time, a key point) to read thru are great. Many of them are chocked full of great pictures and Airstream info. and I find myself going to a few select ones regularly. However, I find that by moving this info to a Blog all of the search info and related Forum topic material is lost in Blog outer space along with the pictures of Gladys and the kids playing with the dog. I personally think much of that info to be shared belongs in the appropriate Forum thread and have only a reference to a Blog for more in depth coverage. Its just a thought.

That's why you will find all our activities with our trailers documented in threads in the forums. Yes, you may have to wade through several hundred posts in that thread, but it is all theoretically at least accessible through the forums search function. If it ever gets fixed.

Lightbulb Sprawl ?

re: Blogs etc.
A few more bells, a few more whistles, a few more pounds, a few (thousand) more members, a few (tens of thousands) more posts, a few more glitches, a change in direction, a little bad luck, ...and pooof ...it's all gone.... like a thief in the night, in the twinkling of an eye...
Lord I hope not.

Terry I notice you are no longer headlined as a Moderator.
I suppose that has to do with your going to work for a vendor..Inland RV and the percieved (or real) conflict of interest that brings.
FWIW it made no difference to me.
So did you really give up the Mod powers or just the headline? How long were you a Moderator? and how the hell have you had time to post over 13 thousand times and still have any use for a bed or a meal???

I noticed over at the missing 2air thread that someone noted a number of Mods have either quit the Mod duty or left the Forum altogether.

Here are the few I can think of, any more and any particulars of why?

Being a moderator takes time. It's expected that there is change in the mod team over time and new mods come on as there is need. Peoples live change, interest changes, trailers, jobs, lifes change and as they do, mods come and go.

The big mystery here is where the heck is the bunny??
