Why don't you all get a life and leave him alone?
Just wondering.

To me, he has been a heck of a nice guy, who has gone out of his way to help me. After my experiences with him, I have great respect for his advice.

If I knew who he was, I would not share it. If he wants us to know, he'll tell us.

He has in the past, grown tired of having what he has posted hotly disputed on the forum. He has in the past stopped posting and continued to help individuals via Personal Messages. I would not be surprised if he was doing that now.

In any case, I respect his right to privacy, as I would that of any forum member.

Aside from what kind of wood his cabinets are made from, anything I could share would probably embarrass him AND his dog.

But this is a fact: Any day you wake up after a rally and Joe & Max are the only campers left is a GOOD day.

I have had the privilege of meeting 2Air a couple of times and it truly was a good experience. You must speak with 2Air face to face to get how he posts.

2Air likes his privacy. 2Air does not like any personal information posted on Airforums including his real name. Please respect this.

Send 2Air a PM if you need to speak with him. 2Air still checks in from time to time.

Thanks for your understanding.

I agree, 2Air has been very helpful to many of us and quite witty! I miss his posts. I know he followed the other thread about his absence and hoped teasing him a bit might flush that wabbit out for a reply. At any rate I think he knows he is missed by many and that the posts are made lightheartedly in hopes of occasionally sending a smile his way.

BigAl, 2Air is well known by many of us here, we have met him at various rally's and events. He has provide and shared knowledge which has helped all solve problems and make decisions. He is somewhat of an Icon on this site and in the Airsteam community. This is not the first time he has dropped out for awhile. The last time was a few year ago and the thread went on for quite awhile. 2air is very sociable and friendly, he dose guard his privacy but not anymore than many people. 2air will share a meal and have a drink with you and if you have the chance do so. 2air travels alone and when he drops out friends and acquaintance tend to worry as you would for any friend who may have a problem and needs assistance.

That's it! 2Air is neither at the pearly gates nor taking any heat but alive and kicking and out bar hopping with Bob whozits. Now that you mention it, I am certain that I saw a 6 foot rabbit the last time I was at the pub.

Well said.
I've found 2airs advice invaluable- on and off forum.

Was Here... Now Gone Again?

What am I missing? Where is 2air? I know he was on hiatus for a while and then came back for some period of time. I haven't noticed a thread or post from him in quite some time. Surely he has a need to release bottled-up comments on brakes, hitches, bike racks, the need for more (or fewer) Airstream clubs, etc. Did I miss something?

I did receive a PM from him though that was some time ago now. Perhaps he has lost interest in the forum for one reason or another.

Alumapalooza?

Anyone hear if he's going to Alumapalooza this year? I had the pleasure of meeting him there 2 years ago. Wish I could go this year but the stars haven't aligned.

Wherever you are - keep on keeping on!

Paula
