2017 FC with solar panels for battery charging

When we are plugged into shore power are our solar panels trying to charge our on board batteries? Part flashing I’d The SunExplorer, Part No. PVC 25D/PVDM4-LC. The battery voltage starts flashing @ 17.5 volts & the propane detector goes off. How are these two actions connected?
If we go around & turn on all the overhead lights on the % of charge drops & the alarm shuts up. Is this a take it to the mothership problem? Wouldn’t you just know we had the rig out in JC for some warranty work last year & this wasn’t an issue. This is not our first AS but our first experience with solar panels.

It may be a true, true, unrelated scenario. I am not a solar or charging system expert but your converter should detect that you’re hooked up to shore power and switch off the solar charging. Sounds like you’re saying that your solar is still charging even on shore power?

Can you confirm that your AS switching to shore power? We don’t have solar on ours so when we hook up to shore power, we can see it in our multiplex that the batteries are charging/charged and more importantly the microwave actually turns on.
