2005 Airstream Classic 30 S/O

I am considering purchasing a 2005 Classic 30 S/O. I have never owned an Airstream before so is there any opinions of why I should consider or more importantly not consider this year and model. I really like the Slide Out and the idea of old school wood.

Heavier a bit, yup. got a big hole cut in them? again yup. Extra gizmos uh uh.

Extra room, oh yeah.

A bit of campsite splash I didn't know they still made Airstreams let alone a Slide Out.

Say hi in the Slide Out thread and pick the opinions of those that own one.

Knowing what you want to do, camping style, number of folks, full timing etc. can help tailor answers.

Some good friends of ours just picked up a 2008 34' Slide Out. They've owned other AS's but went for a Slide this time.
