At 9:16 p.m. on Aug. 23, the Airstream forums had 15,671 members. Right now we stand at 15,881, a jump of more than 200 people in 9 days. So watch for that 20,000th member---it's coming right up!

O.K. I figure Aluminitus and a very healthy dose of optimism has hit some prior posts. Oh, and the deadline needs to be extended too. At the present rate of growth allowing for seasonal growth, factoring in the winds of change  I'll throw my best guess at January 30th, 9 pm CST 2007 will see us at 20,000 total count. The Portal will be faster than a chatroom and the search feature will be the only way to find anything!

It's really amazing to think we are having a contest for 20,000 members, that is amazing! The last two months were over 750 new members each month. I do think new member registrations will slow down as camping season in N America comes to an end.
I also think it is amazing to see the list of members who have visted in the last 24 hours exceed 700. That is a lot of us stoping by each day. Heck, we have been averaging over 4,000 unique visitors a day. That leaves a lot of visitors to convert...
