1980 airstream service manual

My 2nd Caravelle came with a 1980 airstream general service manual, 360 pages of indepth info on parts servicing etc etc. Is this something which came with every trailer or was it just for dealers and service ctr's?

If it is a rare source I am more than willing to share info from it. I presume it does not only apply to 1980 models but also years before and after it.

I recently bought my grandparent's 1980 Caravelle (22 foot). I'm sure I'll be in need of it soon. Is it something you could look into copying (assuming no copyright issues)? I would be interested in buying one.

Airstream sells copies for $60. I bought one for my 1980 Excella but, when we went full-time, I left it in storage back in Michigan. One of these years I'll get back there and dig it out. Sure could have used it many, many times. There is always something to fix on this 31 year old trailer we call "home".

I hope you aren't full time in Sioux Falls. Way too cold here!

Eastern South Dakota is very pretty with hills, rivers, and trees.
