Just wondering if anyone else has the same trailer? We have a center bath. Checked the registry but nothing came up.

Central baths are not too common.

I have a 71 Tradewind, and had 73 rear bath Sovereign and a 75 center bath Sovereign. Also had a 62 Ambassador and a 67 Tradewind. (Also have a 75 service manual for sale) Can I help?

Even if it is rare, I much prefer the center bath layout in any trailer.

Making Progress Gutting it.
Boy this stuff is in there good. We have gotten one side where we have gotten all the interior walls down. Was a little sad to see that they just laid a subfloor on top of the original floor. Not sure what we will find when we rip up the floor. But since we were gutting it anyway and need to see how bad the frame is I guess it really doesn't matter. Having fun working on it in the evening with the hubby. I think I definitely have the bug. I found my self talking to it. How ya doing tonight Seabass?

Hi, We have the center bath 1973 Ambassador. We just got it last month and are replacing the subfloor now. We are taking most everything out and starting over. Working on the subfloor now. We want to have the electrical and plumbing checked out but dont want to go to a dealer so trying to find an electrician and plumber who know about this kind of stuff. No luck yet.

We are in the process of doing the same thing. We didn't think we were going to have to completely gut it but everytime we pull one thing out we see another problem with the floor so looks like its all coming out. I suppose that will make it easier to deal with updating plumbing anyway.
Are you updating yours or are you going to keep the original furniture and appliances?

I do. After deciphering my vin number, my Airstream is a 73 Ambassador, international land yacht, twin beds, centre bath, built in California. The centre bath in mine is on the opposite side to the main entrance door of the trailer. Airstream changed this to the same side as the door and kitchen the year after I think it was.
