Roof sheeting

Hello all
I had some damage this past winter regarding getting dents on my roof. They are not that bad but you can see them while on a ladder.
I was looking at how best to handle this issue.
The factiry told me they laminate (over lay) a new panel over the existing one to cover these dents. I was also told that these dents will not cause an issue and not to worry about them.
Has any one had a sheet laminated (over lay) over an existing one done at the factory.
I just want to make the right decision on how to handle this issue.
They also have to replace the 3 rear panels as it is.

Thanks for any input.

Leave it alone until next year.

The sun will make most of the roof dents disappear, in time.

So how do they do this? I am assuming they will add additional seams next to the original ones that will be riveted with Olympic rivets? If so you have twice as many penetrations thru the roof with rivets that are notorious for leaking. That's a no brainier, say no thanks! If you can't see it from the ground why go asking for trouble? What are they from? If its hail damage many smaller dents might fix themselves,( the endcaps won't). But what kind of winter damage?

Pictures?
