Roof Inspection

As the new owner of a 2009 23FB Flying Cloud, I want to make sure it is as watertight as the dealer told me it is. I have no reason to doubt the dealer, as I see no evidence of leaks, but I'd feel better doing my own inspection and repair (if necessary). I do need to replace my broken radio antennae, and that's what led me to the roof and this post, as the caulking around the base is cracking, as it is around the fan bases. Having read lots of posts about leaks and sealants, I'm wondering if anyone has a roof inspection protocol to check for leaks?

I've read lots of compelling posts about Sikaflex 721 as a sealant, and lots of compelling posts about Alumibond tape. I'm sure pretty sure the tape is difficult to properly apply around a round object, so caulk seems like the better choice.

Finally, would a yearly application of Captain Tolleys along all seams, and Acryl-R over the rivets be extreme overkill? Thanks for your help.
