Roof dent repair? '63 safari

Hi Folks, Has anyone been successful in repairing dents on the roof from pounding / pushing them out from the inside? I got my bathroom gutted and realized this may be the only time to try to repair my dented roof. See photos.

You could probably push/roll the majority out, but the crease is another story. Since that’s a stretch formed panel, you may consider drilling out the rivets, removing the segment and finding someone with an English wheel to roll it out. Maybe those who have experienced this dent location will chime in. Good luck

If your inner cap is out, the super majority of that can roll out if you're careful and take your time, and of course have the right tool. Get in touch with Aerowood on here. He makes a nice aluminum roller that will help you carefully work that dent out. It'll never be perfect, but I was able to roll dents far worse, with deep creases out of a shell that actually blew off the frame in a wind storm (by previous owner) during a shell off and tumbled down the road. very careful rolling from inside and outside with some heat (a heat gun helps) and hours of work it'll be hardly visible.

success

I was able to get it pretty good so far. I'm sure if I were to polish it you'd see the remaining imperfections. Dealing with the fiberglass ceiling end cap was as much of a challenge!
