Help to identify roof leak (pics) and solution help (please!)

Hi,

we're renovating a 1975 argosy, and need help with possible roof leak.

Do we have to replace those rivets? Is that dark color by the seam indicative of a leak? how would you go about sealing this? materials? from the inside or outside? Thanks in advance!
