Has anyone used a rubber membrane on the roof?

I was looking for a way to stop leaks in my 1989 airstream excella and was thinking about using a rubber membrane like i see on new airstreams. I found a cheap option https://buymbs.com/p-113-mfm-peel-se...l-roofing.aspx

Has anyone tried this before? I see they have aluminum color but will white be better to help with temperature control?
