I’ll admit that I haven’t waxed the roof in a couple of years. We have cottonwood poplar trees that drop messy yellow sticky sap balls. I’ve found they the best way melt it is with Krud Kutter. I spray about 2 square feet at a time, let it sit, then scrape with a credit card until it feels smooth. Many hours later, it’s now de-sapped. Phew. Now to wax….
Btw, whoever mentioned the pool noodle on the ladder hack, thank you! I can reach all but a few inches in the center from the sides this way.
