Caulk Dynaflex, Gray
The 5' metal strip running between the Airstream name and the front window, has a couple spaces between the strip and siding that I want to caulk. Rather than pay 3 times the price of the caulk for shipping, I am wondering if DAP Dynaflex, Gray, will suffice without hurting anything. It is labeled "Silicone Tough"......

I have used the Dynaflex .. it is not really flexible and tends to open up by gaps. But if you have enough build, that problem is not as severe. I prefer the "Arsenal" sold by Airstream.. there are other places that sell it...

I guess I will bite the bullet and order fm AS...paying $25 for a $8 tube of caulk...oh well. She is worth it, I guess. I was looking at Arsenal and will go with it. Many thanks for your note.

You can get Tempro 116 at big box stores. Not sure if they still call it Vulkem, but it is a polyurethane caulk like Vulkem.

I've started using Quad on my trailer, works good and available everywhere.
