Teak bumper?
Anyone try using teak wood for a back bumper? I'm currently in the process of finding a piece long enough. How wide are the bumpers on safari airstreams usually 66"? Also how far back do the c channel stick out from the rear? I just got my frame redone and need to cut the c channel back a little to fit my new "wood" bumper onto. Would you say about 10"? Thanks.

They installed a timber bumper on their argosy, might give you some ideas.
