Is there a standard nomenclature and diagram for Airstream anatomy?

Hello, while it's completely understandable that people use colorful descriptive words for Airstream anatomy, is there an index/glossary of parts and mechanical interactions? This would help immensely. As a former research prof of physiology and surgery, I can tell you that knowledge of anatomy is essential to successful surgery.

Right now, I'm exploring the storage drawer in the rear bumper of a 94 28' Excella, and there's a lot of 'junk in the trunk'. I need to find the easiest way to disassemble it and clean it. Of course, that's part of the larger job of dealing with floor rot, ie. dissection, exposure, resection of necrotic wood tissue, and repair with a suitable graft. Hopefully no orthopedic work will be needed.

Hi

I'm afraid you will find that (to a great extent) the terms are made up as people go along describing things.

If you can get hold of a factory/parts repair manual you can find the proper terminology for Airstream parts and pieces. They used to be available/downloadable from the Airstream web site. Until then you will just have to put up with the slang used by Airstream owners.
