I bent the bumper on my 2001 Safari 25 when we were leaving home for Canopener 2014. It pulled out both screw holes on the curbside and was bent pretty good about a foot inside the screw holes. I did a field expedient repair to straighten it enough to bolt it back on with washers to continue the trip. I used wood blocks and levered it between a 100 gal. propane tank and a concrete block wall. When I got home I pulled it and took it to a friend with a hydraulic press. He used teflon blocks on the inside and rear of the bumper and pressed out the deformation. He then welded up and re-drilled the mounting holes.
The remaining deformation was only noticeable because I knew it was there.
Beats $700.
