Neil,

Thanks for finding that, and a nice piece of work it is!

And congrats on your 1,500th post!

Front Spare Tire Mount Sources?

I would like to mount a spare against the trailer front and then have room for my tanks. Can anyone suggest a source for the correct mount? Trailer is a 56 Safari. As you can see in the pic, I may not have enough clearance for both the tanks and the tire.

I couldn't find an appropriate mount for our 63 Safari...a tire cover and bungee's worked for us...but we're more practical than aesthetic.

Spare Tire Carrier Clearance

Hi folks

I know this is an old post but I book marked it and I am ready to make and install a similar spare tire carrier.

I am concerned about the clearance to the ground. It looks like in the pic, and also with my version that there is about 9.5" to 10"

My question. Is this enough clearance? I don't want to get in a jack pot.

Many thanks in advance

Tony
