Belly pan on 63 GT

Trying to lift the shell off. It appears that the belly pan goes under the exterior skin. Is it necessary to remove all the bottom rivets of the skin to remove the belly pan or just to lift the shell. The bolts in the channel are rusted and difficult/impossible to remove from above and I can't figure out how to remove the belly pan to get them from below. Does the channel stay with the shell or with the floor. I hope to lift this off from above when it is separated. Most threads are way too short on details or were written for some generic trailer. I need information from someone who had done this on the same type/year trailer. I have done a lot of interior restoration but never a "full Monty".

The channel stays with the floor and the belly pan is riveted between it and the outer shell. Yup, all those rivets need to come out. There are also some hidden rivets holding stuff together, usually near each side where it intersects the round ends. My neighbor is in the middle of a shell off rebuild of a 63 GT also, we just got the shell back on. I did a full Monty on a '63 Overlander and there are differences between Ohio and California trailers.

Thanks so much for easing my mind about the floor channel and the perimeter rivets. I will probably replace the big panel on the road side of the trailer so all that deriveting will not go to waste. I am shedding the refer access doors in favor of a AC/DC fridge and need to patch the old hole for the furnace vent. Other plans include a tankless floor vent water heater. Need some shower ideas if you know of any elegant solutions for a trailer full of windows.
