Replacing steps with Lippert solid steps

Would very much like to go to the Lippert solid step setup for our 2020 23’ unit.
Just received their step unit part#733931. Nice setup but it doesn’t appear that it will work. Called Airstream and all they could say was that that have heard of it being done. Anyone out here know of that kind of modification with out requiring heroic mechanics?
Thx.

Lippert Solid Steps for Airstream

We also just purchased the same model steps from Lippert and discovered that there were several issues with installing them in our 2016 Classic.

Luckily we had worked in the past with a Southern California design firm which specializes in Airstream custom renovations: https://innovsb.com/ They reworked the trailer's threshold and "tweaked" the hinged mounting plate of the Solid Steps.

We're quite happy with the results . . . the Lippert product is well built and Innovative Spaces was very creative in installing the steps.

Thank you for that information. There's a custom van conversion shop here in town that I will contact to see if they might be able to do something like that.
