Not good

I accidently backed my sports car into my 74 landyacht. Sheared off original foldout steps, besides other fun new projects....hoping USAA does not total mytrailer. Any ideas how will i weld? new rails and steps will use what is salvagable....or How will we attach new rails to frame/
OH MY GOSH still sick to stomach.....sports car will be repaired and back to me 10 days....not so lucky for my Landyacht.
Thanks

If they do total it and they might, buy it back from them for salvage value and have it repaired or do it yourself.

I had a 25' '77 that I put two long scratches in on the road side, one above and one below the belt line. It was totaled out by the company as the repair cost was estimated at $7000 and the value at that time was only $6000. I took the $6000 from them, paid them back $1500 salvage value and got my trailer back with two long scratches and a 1" metal rip. I repaired that myself, and ultimately sold the rig a couple of years later for over $4000. So, things can be annoying, but may work out in the long run.
