Kwikee electric step
My husband replaced the Kwikee electric single step with another Kwikee single step. The wiring for the new one looks exactly the same as the old one. My husband connected all the wiring, the dilemma we have is that it's working opposite of how it's supposed to work. When you open the door the step retracts back and when you close the door the step opens out. It has a door switch and a manual switch. The instruction manual says to refer to the OEM manual for the switch position for correct step operation. The problem is that the OEM doesn't mention anything about the switch position. I'm pretty sure the the step we replaced was an aftermarket step.
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
