I have a 1986 345 motorhome with electric steps (non-vacuum). They will not budge. Underneath, there is a module with wires going in and out of it and a motor/gearbox drive. I have tested each wire against the manual and they seem to be OK. There is a red 12g wire with power to the mod all the time, there is a white 12g wire coming off the wall switch with
12V on (when switched), there is a brown 16g wire coming from the door switch, which is grounded when door is open, a yellow 16g wire which is hot when the ignition is on. There is also a mystery black 16g wire coming from the chassis and going in to the module. No clue on that one.
Any body have an idea what to try next? Where can I get a module? Maybe the motor is not working?
