Trim tape source(s)?

New to forum. New to Airstream ownership. Have 81 Excella that needs the blue trim tape replaced. Looking for sources of the trim tape. Also need instruction on removing the old tape which is badly dried and cracked.

Excella Blue tape

My 1984 Excella has the same cracked tape condition. I have considered just painting the same color in a solid band in lieu of tape detail.

The tape is exremely hard to remove, a heat gun will soften it but you run the risk of overheating the aluminum and warping it, if you must use a hair dryer instead.
If it is not peeling consider cleaning it and applying the new tape directly over the old. I have started to remove mine and I am afraid It is one of those projects I wish I did not start at this time.
wait untillafter the summer and prepare to spend countless hours carefully picking at it.
If it is anything like mine, I wish you the best of luck.
