Temporary Paint Job

I am interested in painting the outside of my airstream temporarily for a tailgate at the Armed Forces Bowl. I want to make the outside of the AS resemble the helmet Navy will be wearing in the game, take a look: PHOTOS: Uniforms revealed for Army-Navy game - CBSSports.com. Is this possible? Any types of paint that work best or that should be completely avoided? I want to remove the paint after the game. Thanks.

Rather painting I think what you want is a Vehicle Wrap. It won't affect the finish. Any paint that would stick to clear coat aluminum is likely to make a mess.

What about a decal? Or.... buy a roll of the static cling (window) film and paint your helment on it. You can cut around the perimeter of the design and use it again-and-again-and-again...

Check out a product called "Plasti Coat". It can be peeled off after the game if desired.

I was also going to tell you to look up plasti-coat. Lots of custom car people are using it and it looks good and is supposed to come off easy, though I am a bit skeptical about that myself, never having tried it.
