Temporary Paint

I've got an interesting question. I'm in charge of decorating my sister's '67 Airstream this weekend before the haul it off for their honeymoon.

Are there any safe exterior, water based paints that can be used to decorate the aluminum of the trailer?

Any ideas? Thanks a bunch!

NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't risk it. Just use some white shoe polish on the glass, tie a couple of cans to the back bumper and call it a day.

Maybe some static cling vinyl letters or signs? A google search shows they even have "Just Married" versions.

perhaps. I'd try it on a inconspicuous spot on your OWN trailer first.

You can make a "paint", but be very careful.

You can mix some corn starch with water, that will allow you to paint it on.

Also, if you wish, you can add some food coloring to it, for even more fun.

Hosing it off, should remove it with no problem.

BUT, if the clearcoat is shot, then anything you use can and will remove some of the paint.

I bought a can of the duplo removable paint. I will spray a spot tonight and attempt to wash it off tomorrow. I even printed a flame template from the duplo-color website. SO if it washes off I might have some white flames on the overlander. Wish me luck
