Repair clearcoat or replace panel

We have a 2017 22’ Bambi Sport. The panel by the rear window (bathroom) has an 8” square where the clearcoat is peeling. I am looking for a recommendation on repairing the spot or replacing the panel. The local dealer used to sub the spot repair to another shop which is not doing that repair any longer. Does anyone have a recommendation for 1) Clearcoat repair shop or 2) aluminum panel replacement in the Denver Colorado area.
Thanks in advance.
Thom

Clearing it probobly won't match. The coating from Alcoa is a somewhat proprietary mixture and may look different. If the appearance doesn't bother you, clear it, if it does, replace or overlay the panel, but that can get costly.....

I'm not sure I'd agree. Most of us at some point have seen failure of the aloca finish and we've all done some level of putting clear for nicks and stuff, so even if the OP had posted pictures, I'd have still given a similar if not the same response. Sure we all like pics, but in this case, I've seen what the OP has described.

I have found that clear bra, a specialized plastic wrap as used for vehicle paint protection provides a very close and highly effective match to the airstream clear coat - most such products carry a 10 yr warrant

I had a small 2 inch wide by 4 inch ling area where the clear coat came lose. I purchased a product called Nyalic. This material can be purchased as a kit fand you get the cleaner, cleaning pad and the spray clear coat. This is a very simple process and is almost invisible when finished. This material is spacecraft proven, so it says, and should hold up. Had it on for 2 years now and still looks good.

Thank you to the responders. We are camping and away from cell service. My appreciation has been delayed.
The attached photo shows the area at the upper right hand corner of the center panel. The area is small but growing.
I will look into the products mentioned. Thank you for the Nyalic suggestion. It appears that a panel replacement would not be the first choice from the forum - so far.

Unfortunately, the picture resolution doesn’t show the problem well. As sfranklin replied, “most of us at some point have seen failure of the Alcoa finish.” It looks just like that.

Thank you Boba911 for the Nyalic suggestion. I contacted them and they were very helpful. The product seems to be a good answer. I am leaning toward this for a repair solution.
If it isn’t successful, we will likely go to Airstream of Wyoming since the local dealer is not responding to repair inquiries and this isn’t a new behavior from them.

Another product that may work for you is Sharkhide metal and aluminum protectorant. It is relatively easy to apply. Make sure you wear gloves and protect your eyes when applying. Basically you saturate a cloth baby diaper and wipe over the area. Apply enough that it will spread but not too much where it will run. Don’t wax that area as it will remove the product.

we had a couple of spots on our last Airstream, cleaned the edges the best we could, use a good panel wipe (alcohol/water) and covered the area including 1 to 2 inches beyond with a 3M professional paint protector (clear bra), worked great!! Barley see it was there.

Ceramic coating?

Sorry to hear of the peeling. I've had cars do it and it gets unsightly.
We had the ceramic coating done on our AS shortly after we got it. If I recall their process, they remove the clear coat and then apply the ceramic coating. If other options start to get kind of pricey, you might consider the ceramic in lieu of a panel replacement etc.
Best of luck.
