I have a 1991 Airstream and the coating (think its Plastikote) is peeling as they all eventually do...I contacted P&S and was informed that they now only strip and polish trailers as when Airstream stopped using the product, there was not enough demand for the product and it was discontinued.
I really don't want to have to maintain unprotected aluminum. Any suggestions on other products or providers that have a track record as solid as P&S?
I think a synthetic polymer might be of some use. I have used Liquid Glass to protect the plasticoat on my '90 Excella for seven years and it's holding up well. I do applications a year and I think they layer. No cracking, yellowing, etc. Alas, Liquid Glass is no more. But one of of the owners has launched a new product which he of course swears is better. I haven't tried it, but a lot of reviews at Amazon.

You dropped the number of applications per year.
I thought liquid glass had been out of production at least 20 years.
Did I miss its comeback and subsequent, second demise?
Hope the new stuff really is just as good.
