Paint match for Pewter Gray?

Has anyone had any success in finding a locally available version of the Pewter Gray paint used on the late model trailer frame and banana wrap?

I searched everywhere I could think of around here, and couldn't find anything close.

So, I bought a quart of Rustoleum grey, and a quart of Rustoleum black, and started adding black to the grey until it came out the same color. Painted the tongue of the trailer, and couldn't tell the difference.

Check with BobThompson, (reference to his thread on having painted his TT and professional experience as an architect).

I found the exact color paint and used it on my 2012 27FB Int'l tongue, it matched perfectly, here's the info:

Perfect- thanks for the ideas. I will seek out some duplicolor first and see how it looks. XO, the odmrv paint is sold out.

The Airstream Store in Jackson Center had it in spray cans when I was there last fall. They can send it out.

Update- I purchased a can of Duplicolor BGM0534 Gray Metallic (replaces T183) and it is a near perfect match. $7.99/ can at Advance Auto.

I would test this one in an inconspicuous area before spraying it on my banana wraps. Its a lacquer and it will lift and/or wrinkle your clear/gray finish

Yes, test it somewhere because unless your trailer has a much different color than mine, the color has no metallic in it.

I purchased it for the a frame, so can't speak for the plastic, but my test spot on the tongue of my 15 yr old trailer looks fine.

I used the Pewter grey Pewter Gray Spray Paint 360260-100- it came out with a somewhat purple hue to it?

SteveH I am a novice painter, once you mixed the paints to desired pewter grey color, did you then use a spray paint gun vs. brush to apply?
