Original A frame color, 1994 Excella 1000

I have removed as much rust as possible from the A frame, painted with 2 coats of POR15, and now want to repaint the original color. What was the original color? Was it black or the same grey as the banana wrap? The Barker jack was the same grey as the wrap. Trailer is a 1994 Excella 1000, 34 ft. I am sure the A frame was repainted by a PO prior to purchase by me. Thank you.

Some early to mid 90's have the stainless steel wraps to protect the frame from towing equipment. The color I found under those wraps on several early 90's was the same as the banana wraps

Thanks Peter! I too have the stainless wraps, and it's impossible to tell what the original color was. I suspect that the frame was painted a couple of times in the past by PO. I found some Rustoleum Charcoal Grey that looks very close to the bananna wrap and will repaint everything, including the banana wrap with that. I found that the POR15 works very well to stop the rust problem. Thanks again. Chris
