Is this beltline stock??

Ive never seen a beltline that looks like this[ see pic] Do you think its stock?

I looked at vintage airstream archives for my year airstream [ 1971 safari ] and they all have only a single beltline.

thanx--jim------ps-its like this on the other side as well.

It is nota stock beltline. It is a little similar to the International beltline but there are many differences from that as well. It looks to me that the piece surrounded by this beltline was replaced or added and the beltline was installed to cover the seam.

Infamous metal replacement trick.

It appears from your photo that the trailer was damaged on one of those sides, and as a result, an "overlay" method was used to hide it.

Most everyone in the Airstream family, would tell you the same thing.

What matters, is if it doesn't bother you, then it's OK.

But, if you ever wanted to sell or trade the coach, you will find that overlay has caused the trailer value, to decrease.
