Hot rod

If thats the trailor I think it is .It was won from a radio station givaway where I live in jonesboro arkansas. It was stripped out and turned into a "party pad" with a purple interior and a wrap around couch and a bar.Talk about ruining a good trailor.

Joel I am not sure if that was the case or not. I found it on a site that is selling trailers in the UK. No interior shots but I thought it was kinda fun. Here is the link. Lots of nice trailers but sad to see them going overseas!

Why are you sad to see them overseas?? We love Airstreams - like you do, we care for them - like you do, we life for them - like you do, we get excited when we see one - just like you do and finally we even pay more for them and their maintenance then you do! (But just because trailers and parts are a rare find in europe...)

Do you think we are sad when we send a Porsche, Audi, Ferrari, Airbus or Redwine overseas?? No, we are proud that you like what we produce and are proud of it!
So be proud that people overseas love your American Icon!!

We are proud to own one!!!

Have a nice day and give your silverbullet a big hugh and kiss every time you see it...

Bjoern,
I lived in England for 3 years and I love Europe and actually consider England to be my true home. I have owned 1 Porche and 3 audi's. Every German car I have owned was made for export and I must say that my Porsche now lives back in Europe. I brought it to England when I moved there from Washington state and eventually sold it to a German co-worker.The brakes failed on 2 of the Audi's, once while I had my kids in the car. Scarry to say the least! The third Audi I owned while I lived in England. the last time I looked there were no VINTAGE Airbus's. Besides we have Boeings. Really I dont see a reason for you to take issue with my being "sad" to see vintage Airstreams to be exported to Europe or anywhere else. It is a little piece of "Americana" and we dont have the privilage of thousands of years of recorded history and culture that you do.

Hot Rod Airstream

Hello All

The hot rod Airstream is in the UK, a company called Airstream Caravans in the UK brought it across to the UK and sold it on to a UK end user. Dont know who bought it but it will certainly brighten up our roads and put a smile on the face of everyone who sees it.

regards Thripplewood
