Red face Flame Decals??

HI all,

We have an aluminum trailer, not airstream, and we have promised our boys that we would put some flames on the sides. Cool.
I know it is not traditional.

Has anyone done that here? I have looked at tons of pictures and have never seen one aluminum trailer with a decal like that. Is there an actual physical reason it won't work or it is just aesthetics?

We were just looking at the many decals they have for cars and stuff like that.

Now, that's thinking out of the box!

If you and your family would enjoy them, why not?

You're right. I don't think I've seen any A/S's with flames or really many other decals other than when people have something to promote. Like that movie Sahara or Rich Luhr doing his tour.

I think they would be fun and definitely an icebreaker at campgrounds. Why not got a little further and put some chrome exhausts on the side too?

Flames for the AS & TV

Flames for the Airstream - why not!!!

I have flame decals at both the front and rear wheel wells of my Ford F250 and have purchased a matching set for the Airstream. Hence the choice for avatar! Haven't put on the ones for the AS yet which is a good thing because we just sold the 25' Safari and ordered a 28' Classic - another long story chronicled here in another thread - "Fireplace in an Airstream".

Anyway, the best looking flame decals I could find after a loooong search came from They have both magnetic (not too great on aluminum) and vinyl decals. I went with 23" Fast Flames but I wish now I had picked the massive 63" Traditional Flames!!! I even have the matching Flame T-shirt!!!

Too Cool!!

Thank you for this information! I have a standing bet with my teenaged neice that if she gets straight A's in school I will put flames on my 1984 Volvo. She hasn't done it yet, but she's definitely getting there. I've been looking for these for when she does it!
