Exterior Insert molding replacement cost

Funny (strange, not haha), I just replaced some of the chrome stuff on mine this past weekend and feeling pretty stupid for not checking auto parts stores - paid $2 & $3 a foot, respectively, for the 1/2” & 1” of the same stuff at Out of Doors Mart.

Agree that there is nothing to replacing it. Carefully pry and peel old stuff, clean track (how’d all that grime get in there!?), and stick the new stuff in place.

What method did you use to remove all of the chrome. Some flakes off with my thumbnail. The rest is pretty solid. Can you clean and tape over it? How’s yours holding up?
