Decal mural on Argosy?

I think one of the reasons I was drawn to the Argosy was that blank slate: Maybe I'd learn to paint one day!

Truthfully, my artistic skills are strictly limited to my taste in trailers and with all the reno work on mine, I haven't had time to develop any paining skills lately.

But, I was envisioning a mural on the side of my 20' Minuet. I found some interior wall decals online and upon a test application, found that when removed, they would take off the 5+ year old eggshell marine paint layer.

While I'm not *too* concerned about that, as I'm hoping to like what I put on, I am worried that since they're made for interiors, they will start flaking off after a season or two and then I'd be in for a paint job much sooner than I prefer.

Has anyone else looked into a mural for their Argosy? The car decals I've seen online seem too limited and small. I'm looking for a wildflower garden that would cover most of one side of the trailer. Would love to hear your thoughts! Stencils?!

Ooh. I gave myself an idea with the stencils! Etsy has a lot of tall, fence stencils for sale.

Is there a type of paint I could put on top of the marine paint that would come off with a light sanding and would cover well with just a bit of primer and the marine paint down the road?
