Beltline replacement and Zip Dee awning

I’m in the process of replacing the chrome beltline around our Anniversary Edition 2007 Classic and before I remove the old beltline I’m looking for a little help regarding the support arms for the awning - they are fixed at the bottom to the trailer body with three screws which go through the beltline. My questions are
1/ are these arms under tension ? When I unscrew them will they try to unwind and smack into the bodywork. And
2/ are the big ole screws actually screwed into something on the inside that I need to be aware of in order to reattach the awning arms ?
Thanks in advance for any help
(BTW already replaced the mid level chrome line and it looks awesome)

Welcome Aboard...👍

These....no they are not under tension. I had to move ours as the awning was not rolling up straight. I replaced with bolts and sealed the threads with 3m 5200.👍
