AIRSTREAM letters

I am looking for two T's, one E and a R with nuts if possible for my 72 31' Sovereign exterior letters. Mine are missing, any help would be appreciated

I have not had any luck on letters. Does anyone know who might sell the letters for a 71 Sovereign, haven't had much luck. Need to find the A, two T, R and a E. Need to get my Airstream dried in

Try Ben in the parts dept at Out of Doors Mart. He found me some used emblems in the past. Another place is Colaw RV. They wreck a lot of Airstreams and may be able to help you. Also, post an ad in the classified in this forum. You never know what somebody might have hidden away!! Chris

I was missing the "M" in "AirstreaM" from the front of my '73. Colaws was able to fix me up right away. They are in Carthage, Mo. You will need to call them to explain what it is you need. Great folks. Reasonably priced.

Speaking of letters.... does anyone know the paint code, or color of the blue inside them? (and is it the same as the trim line paint?)

Rustoleum Royal Blue is what has been advised as very close to the original. Used it on my 1976 and looked real good. Tape off and paint away! You will be impressed with the look!!

No luck at Colaw or Out of Doors Mart, still need two E, one each of the A, T, I. Able to repair studs on others with JB Weld and screws, If anyone knows where to get them let me know.

You might try Oasis RV Tucson, AZ Used RV Sales: Travel Trailers, Fifth Wheels, Airstream & Toy Haulers. in Tucson. I was there a few years ago and had a lot of old vintage parts including trim and AS emblems. Good luck

Just noticed in the classifieds back in January, there is a member parting out a trailer in Ohio. He had a bunch of windows for sale. Might try him to get the letters you need. Good luck!! Chris

Thanks for all the support for looking for letters. I am still in need of a E and A for the end caps on a 72 Airstream, I have called the different places with no luck for my letters. Did find an article on Google about JB Weld and putting new post on letters, worked like a champ. Can't remember the Forum member that had the article.
