MY NEXT LIFE

By George Carlin

I want to live my next life backwards:

You start out dead and get that out of the way.

Then you wake up in a nursing home feeling better every day

Then you get kicked out for being too healthy.

Enjoy your retirement and collect your pension.

Then when you start work, you get a gold watch on your first day .

You work 40 years until you're too young to work.

You get ready for High School: drink alcohol, party, and you're
generally promiscuous.

Then you go to primary school, you become a kid, you play, and you
have no responsibilities.

Then you become a baby, and then...

You spend your last 9 months floating peacefully in luxury, in
spa-like conditions - central heating, room service on tap, and
then...You finish off as an orgas.m

I rest my case.

I stopped believing in Santa Claus when my mother took me to see him in a department store, and he asked for my autograph.

It's not the size of the dog in the fight but the size of the fight in the dog.

It's not the size of the wand but the amount of magic in the wand.

How long is a piece of string?

Hi, this is one of my favorites. While working at the dealer we/I would get lots of phone calls, from customers, with many questions about their vehicle. And many times we would tell them that we could not answer their questions with out actually seeing their vehicle. But the questions kept on comeing. Finally, I would ask them, if I could ask them one question. And they always said yes. "I have a piece of string in my hand; Can you tell me how long it is?" And they would say, "well no, I can't see it." Long silent pause. "OK I understand, I will bring my car in so you can see it."

American version: Under the bleachers by Semorebutt

Man it's been since middle school since I've thought of those.
