Maybe discussing rear end sag would slow this thread down...

Oh indeed the euphemisms are endless with an Airstream.
I mean there's the common concept of "rivet bucking" which is a two-person job, but I have found ways to do myself when no one else will help.
Or we could talk about all the polishing I have been doing recently. It really makes my hands hurt if I do it for too long, and the polish just gets EVERYWHERE. All over my clothes, etc.
But the actual polishing will all pay off. I mean, it's not for no reason that I'm polishing the interior of the trailer and installing a whole new endcap over the dedicated bed area....
I mean because I am concerned with what I look like when I wake up, of course.

Be careful or you might end up with twins because you got the queen...

Not the first Airstream I have heard of with a polished interior. And don't forget the concave surface acts as a magnifying mirror. . .

Given that most of us are old, I'm glad to read that we haven't lost the desire, or at least those of us with queen beds instead of twins.
Maybe Airstream should include a Cialis dispenser in the bedroom with a year's supply—a great promotional item.
Gives another meaning to "silver bullet".
Now, about those photos….

Jammer, what bothers me most about those overhead lockers is this:
When I want to "ride high in the saddle," I am not looking at the boyish, handsome face of my beloved. I am looking at the frontspiece of those darn lockers (in alchemy gold).
This is what I did. Pasted a picture of lover boy (in his favourite hat) right onto the front of that locker.
See! Pretty smart, eh?

This thread has fully convinced me of the true value of good quality "wheel chocks"...
I actually know a couple who had the truck camper off the truck, sitting on it's jacks when they became "enthusiastic" in the upper bunk area. Too much weight at the front of the camper and it tumbled forward nose-first and crashed onto the ground. Cupboards flew open, releasing corn flakes, macaroni, hot chocolate, cooking oil, etc. all over the camper... It was her dad's camper, and she had a real difficult time explaining what happened.

An Airstream can be considered an update of the bachelor pad; at least according to my friend the beautiful, but hapless, Hanna. She met this guy in Las Vegas and right away she says he offered to take to Florida. She piled her stuff onboard, but no sooner than had she gotten it stowed away he starts to put the hardwood on her. She gave 'im a good cuff and told him she "wasn't that kind of girl" (which she isn't). For his part, he looked hurt and confused and said he didn't know why she changed her mind. "I thought we were going to Florida" she said. Slowly a look of understanding invaded his perplexed, if oleagenous continance. "No, no, that's not what I said" says he. "Did too" says Hapless Hanna. "No" he says " I said that when you got in the Airstream I was goin' to tampa with ya." Hanna told me she's done with Airstreams for good maybe. I tried to explain that she might have better luck with a SOB type, but she said that was the trouble in the first place. Go figure.
Hanna says now that before she gets in a trailer with any guy again they've got to be hitched.

Seconded!
Great thread.
I'm not sure what Airstream's obsession with the twin beds was - do most Airstreamers not want to sleep with their significant other?
