Maybe we can get "segment protectors" that fit around more of the unit to protect the entire tube. It will keep out road oil, bacteria and viruses. I suppose it could be marketed "for prevention of disease". Everyone wants a clean unit.

I wonder if we could maybe do some kind of whole Twinkie sheath? To prevent filiform corrosion?

Oh, but I've read on the forums many times before to never ever cover my silver twinkie because excess chafing and rubbing of the cover will damage it.
To avoid those problems you mention I always park it in a garage and never in the smaller backyard where it's more prone to damage and viral infiltration. I've also never trusted those rental garage (and sometimes backyard) spaces in shady parts of town.

Filiform corrosion on our unit makes my wife sad,, I guess that I need to get some that are extra strong and ribbed, for her pleasure!

That's one of those myths that you hear. "Don't ever rub your unit!" Then they tell you you'll grow hair on your palms or go blind. Modern science has proven that if you properly lubricate your sheath, any rubbing will only polish it better and all will be happy.
Wally knew this and told people the Airstream shape was inspired by an airplane fuselage, but Wally was an expert salesman and knew just what people wanted.

The European models are fairly short and narrow. US buyers like 'em long and wide.
I don't know if this has anything to do with the lower birthrate in Europe.

Hi, sometimes they still get hurt a bit, no matter how much protection you use on them.

I guess that's why we all need to stock up on Wally's Walberniz, to keep our units shiny and protected!

I was watchng "CBS this Morning", and they said you could get "a better screw in" when "you've soaked it in Vodka for about an hour" first.

Oh my. Well, I suppose if it's not better, if you soak yourself in the vodka for an hour, you might not care.

Bob, that video proves vodka is the best cleaner.
Should it be applied with the tongue?
