How about "N" for Navajo, New Mexico. Navajo is the most Navajo town in the United States, with 95.04% of residents having full or partial Navajo ancestry.

An L can be for Los Alamos, the town that glows brightly up in the Jemez Mountains to our southwest.

KIRTLAND, New Mexico: Kirtland was founded in the early 1880s by Latter-day Saint settlers who named it after Kirtland, Ohio.

Ah, Kirtland! Always makes me think of the very good Aimee and David Thurlo mystery series (the Ella Clah novels). Wish the library would stock more of them (as ebooks)!
How about Des Moines, New Mexico! Des Moines is a little village up in NE New Mexico off Highway 64. It's mainly large ranch territory up here. Here's a pic of the area:

An L ... well, that could be Los Lunas, NM. Los Lunas is located just south of the Isleta Reservation, which itself is just south of Albuquerque. Los Lunas used to be a small, sleepy agricultural town on the Rio Grande, but that has changed a great deal! Now the place is growing like a weed with larger housing developments, each home built on the tiniest patch of land that they can manage. Have to move further south to get out of the mess now!
Oh, and the odd Spanish in its name is because the town is named not after the moon (la luna), but after a family named Luna (originally los Luna, now anglicized to Los Lunas).

Oh, gosh, a C is tough because there are so many of them in New Mexico! Ok, how about Cimarron, New Mexico. That's right down the highway from us ('bout 30 miles maybe). Cimarron is an "old west" town along one of the Sante Fe Trail routes. There are some old hotels in those towns over there, the one in Cimarron called the St. James: Still running, great food, old bullet holes, the whole works.
Of course, there's a bunch more over there, mainly very large ranches, including the UU Bar, the Vermejo, the CS, and, most well known, the Philmont Boy Scout Ranch. These are huge ranches covering many, many square miles. (One boundary of the CS, for example, is on the other side of the valley from us and goes clear to Springer, about 35 miles from here.)
