Here's an opportunity for all you poets among us.

Compose and post a LIMERICK about AIRSTREAMS, Travel, Camping, This Forum, or any other area you might guess interesting to folks on the forum.
Please keep it mostly clean, and stay within the limerick rhythm and rhyme pattern.

Here's one for a starter:

A friendly young fellow named Chuck
Pulled an Airstream around with his truck
He partied his pals
And romanced the gals
And with rent he never got stuck

Who bought himself an Excella
He traveled the nation
Without hesitation
And was bagged by a dame name of Stella

And it may have been a mistake
To back into the site
In the dim evening light
If he'd only remembered the brake!

An old sailer was bound to the shore
His nautical days were before
He found a Landyacht and traveled
And as the miles unraveled
He was lost in the voyage once more

The driver manuvered with ease
And hauled out his rig mid the trees
But one task he neglected
and thus badly deflected
The antenna that fed his TV's

the posters it seems,
never searched for the reams,
of others with like-minded air hijinks

There was an old lad from Nantucket
Who towed an aluminum bucket
He thought he would try
W-B-C-C-I
But last minute decided, Oh .... here's my dues!

There was an Airstream from Madras
Whose axles were made of pure brass.
In stormy weather
They would clash together
And sparks would fly out if its... ask me later...

A pompous old gal on the forum
Insisted on rules and decorum
'Till one night at a rally
She had a quick dally
Now she drinks with the boys, and shouts "pour 'em!"

Whose likeness had come in a dream
We polished and cleaned
Finding ways to make it gleam
Then camped on the Rio San Joaquin.

Of an Airstream he saw at the cape
He bought one so swank
That it emptied his bank
While his wallet lay there and cried "rape!"

He thought I'll build'em and try'em

Jump into the rig
And without touching a twig
Pull it safely way out to Astoria

composing a poem

Had visitors oft to their rig
When we asked them why
So many friends would come by
They proudly displayed an iced keg!
