Welcome to the forum!
If you go back to the home page, click forum and then click on rally zone you will find some people from your area planning at least one pacific northwest rally.

Enjoy your pride and joy in that lovely area!

Love the blue tanks-

Hi folks, WOW, that is one poppin' trailer. Looking good! Where did you have it done at?

I'm right up the road from you. Although we have no problem finding activities on our own, we enjoy participating with the Oregon Unit of the WBCCI. The WA unit is great too, everyone we've met at rallys has been so welcoming, we've really enjoyed ourselves. We're originally from Oregon, and when we travel we tend to head south to Oregon, so we joined that unit. We're lucky to be right between several active units - there's more stuff to do around here than you can probably fit into your schedule.

If you're into outdoorsy stuff, hiking, biking, etc, you might want to join the Oregon Unit, as we are trying to encourage them to have more of those kinds of activities. Both units skew pretty old, but they're all great people. The more younger folks we have pushing for more active rallys, the more we'll be able to get on the schedule.

Whichever unit you join, you're welcome to participate in any rally you want to drive to. This year we're also going to a non-wbcci trailer rally in N. CA and we wanted to go to the Tin Can Tourists vintage trailer rally in Bellingham in August, but we already have other plans that weekend. And hopefully we'll eventually pull off a forum rally. Like I said, there's probably more to do around here than you can fit into your schedule.

Thats one sweet looking trailer. I bet on a nice summer day it hurts to look at it, its so bright.

The wife and i are Argosy owners and live west of Portland, OR. Her folks are Airstreamers and live in Eugene.

It's the Silver Trailer Social in Calastoga California. I posted to the Rally section of this forum asking if anyone else was attending, and there's a link in that post to more info. I hear it's a very popular rally. We were particularly interested because it's open to all makes, and I'd like to see some other vintage trailers in person for a change. I think it's around May 14th, whichever weekend is closest to that.

Welcome to the forum! There are a lot of Pacific Northwesterners here. There are forum rallies and wbcci rallies is an area near you. I think they are having a forum rally in trout lake this next week. Check the rally zone on the forum for guidance. I can't even imagine what it cost for that polish job if you didn't do it yourself. We just don't have the will to polish the 26 foot girl yet.

Visit the oregon unit of the wbcci website and check out some of the activities. The OR unit is more active than many with members of all ages. Many of us are members (even though some of us live in WA). non-memebers may attend events as guests and they are warm and welcoming.
