Silver in the City 2024

I'm a bit late in posting this, but thought those who were there would enjoy the video.

If you weren't there , SITC is a great urban rally- but it fills up fast! About 70 rigs take over York SC. The organization and hosts are just fantastic and hopefully the donations to the local charity and money spent in a wonderful small town make a difference. There was some good press coverage, so attendance by visitors was very high this year!

As a cohost of Silver in the City and lifelong resident of York, your video is fabulous and captured the essence of the rally from start to finish.

Terry and I were over the top pleased with the turnout from the nearby towns and cities. The television and radio spots made it happen.

The estimated foot traffic in downtown on Saturday afternoon was 4000 people. Wow!!!

All the shops and eateries were packed out. Another homerun for York.

Donations to P.A.T.H (People Attempting To Help) from our Airstream friends attending were just over $4000, so another fantastic accomplishment.

Perhaps the best and most important part of all.....The City of York pulls out all the stops for us. They get it. We could not be happier with the royal treatment the city gives our event.

It is win/win.

Thanks for the great video Justen! As John said, it captures the essence of the event.

Thanks to Terry, John, the City of York and all those folks in the background who pitched in to help out. Thanks for letting us visit and stay in their community. We had a great time, the Community was awesome and the event was flawless!

Thanks for the great video of SITC. We have had our Airstream for 5 years and camped extensively, but this was our first Airstream gathering. We were blown away by the organization, friendly people, and City of York!

You are now on the official attendee list for Silver In The City 2025. The dates for the rally are April 24 thru 27,2025. There is no rally fee and it is a boondocking rally. The short answer to your question is yes. The easy way to learn more about them is to look up Airstream urban rallies. SIC was the first urban rally to be held on the east coast and possibly the southeast. My friend John Leake and i like to tell people we did not invent the concept but we are trying our best to perfect it. Thanks for your interest and yes we have some good friend who come from New Jersey every year to attend.
