Reminder, Canopener.

Being one of the hardest tickets on tour, TopSail Hill SP is always hard to find.
My first year, I got in because of the generosity of another forum member.
I needed a spot and she was cancelling. Somehow we did a PM and she agreed to cancel at exactly 10:00:00am.
I was hovering like a scientist waiting for the site to be available. It did, I pounced.

So, my message is that if you're going to cancel, post on the forum and allow some members to PM you, rather than just posting that you cancelled. Pick a time and be aware we're talking seconds, not minutes for the spot to become open and snagged.
Remember, you're not competing with other Airstreamers only, the park will have plenty of box trailers too.

The nice lady I connected with went a little out of her way and the rest is history.
Never give up.

As I write this I'm watching the progress of Tropical Storm Ian. Although it's still south of Cuba, it's expected to become a major storm after entering the Gulf. (M >110 mph).
If you watch the updates daily, it's now trending a little west which COULD send it to the panhandle on Friday. That area between Panama City and Destin was ravaged by Hurricane Mike several years ago. I remember being shocked at how many trees were broken off along I-10 along with every road sign and advertising billboard. (I-10 is 25 miles inland!)
Let's hope our friends at TopSail Hill SP don't take the brunt of the storm.
