New Member interested in Rallies... I think.

Hi! I just joined today My husband and I do not YET own an Airstream. Before we make a purchase, we would like to attend a rally or two to meet folks and learn. Is this possible? Or is there a better forum to meet owners, see what they have and the features they like?

Welcome! There are Buddy Rallies that's perfect for you. Buddy Rallies are designed to allow non-Airstreamers to attend a rally and be a part of the AS experience. Our Unit is having on in July at Mt. Airy in NC. I'm sure that might be a little far for you to attend, but you would be welcome! I suggest you search on the WBCCI website for the units nearest to you and look for Buddy Rallies. I know we would welcome you and I'm pretty sure most other units would too.

The Rally leader would appreciate knowing you are coming. If you're considering the Piedmont Unit's Rally you can reach out to me by Private Message, I am a co-host for this rally. It is usual practice for the rally leaders to be noted in any publicity for the rally. You should check the website for information on a rally to see who is hosting.

The Wally Byam Airstream Club welcomes visitors! If you visit the website at www.wbcci.org you will find contact information for various unit leaders and region leaders. You can send a message, or, you can call the club headquarters, give a number for a return call, and ask that they have a unit leader or rally coordinator near you give you call. My wife and I are members of the Central Indiana club mentioned earlier, but will not be able to make the buddy rally this year.
