Thanks for heading up this event again, Brian! Looking forward to seeing everyone.
As tradition, everyone is invited to the Friday night chili and hot dog dinner around the campfire. New for this year...vegetarian chili...but we'll have traditional hot dogs for everyone who wishes a chili dog.

Great directions
Drove right to the site in the rain at 10:30PM Sunday night
Looking forward to meeting fellow Airstreamers as this is my first Airstream gathering of any kind
And it is warmer than Wisconsin but not by much

Looks like the weather is turning out to be sunny and cool.  We hoped to be there late Thursday, but now a funeral prevents us from arriving before Friday afternoon.
Mrs wants to know what to bring to dinner Friday night. I'm thinking I might bring a venison mincemeat pie for Saturday dinner.

I'm thinking dinner is covered for Friday so long as you like hot dogs and chili. Dessert's always a good choice!

We had a great time this year! All the dogs were amazing! I tried to get a couple shots with the drone but was having communication problems. Here is the better of what I got.

Yes, it was fun!!! Thanks to all who attended and helped out--this was a GREAT group!
We just now made it home. Small altercation at the gas station in Eldon as someone backed into the rear of the trailer with his 1-ton Deweez flat bed. Tweaked the aluminum cargo rack pretty good but missed hitting the AS by inches. Sure glad I had that sacrificial Harbor Freight POS there to take the brunt. Oh, and had to come to a near stop to avoid a yearling deer just a few miles from the house. ALWAYS an adventure!

Yummy! Think I'll do it in a 12" DO next time so it's a little thinner/crispier. Still plenty edible, tho! Glad you guys came out. Next time with Daisy; no excuses! But we'll see you in St.Charles first...

Thanks Brian and JoAnn for hosting a great rally. Rudolf Bennitt is our favorite, but the wind this year...we missed being out on the lake.
Looking forward to 2019, maybe we do need to think a little earlier in the month, it's the classic debate that goes on in my mind - bugs vs. weather...

Our "LAST" real boondock was 40+ years ago; so a new experience. Last time we tent camped. All went well this time and will do it again!
Thanks Brian and Roger for the arm twisting and getting us to say yes.
Had a good time meeting alot of new AS'ers.
the location was great; but the weather; cold, windy and little sun. Thanks to the fire and E Z ups made it tolerable, not to mention warm clothes.
Hope to see you all next time.
