Last week there was a 1971 Overlander for sale in the Arkansas Democrat Gazette. I called. Sounded pretty good. It was at Sheridan Ark. May be sold already. Not in the paper anymore. It would be the same model as the Colliers, I think. Didn't post it earlier cause we were interested, bur decided nor to buy. We didn't go see it.

We need a date, and some more host volunteers for the spring who are willing to ask dealers for prizes, etc. Shane & Kathy are helping. Who else?

No they are going to a state park, I forget the name. It's like 225 or 250 a couple. Comes with 3 meals and lots of show passes. Theres also a swap meet and a few vendors.

Why can't we have our Rally either the first or second weekend of April?

I don't really see why their rally will affect ours that much...or is it just not "proper" to have one at the same time? Do any of our group have a conflict with it? I know we have a few WBCCI members, but not sure what they would think. Swap meet?...sounds interesting? This is just my inexperienced 2 cents speaking!
Drew, I think there are several who think the first of April is still too cold for Branson...me being one. But we are game for whatever the planners go with!

We enjoyed this rally so much, we want another one, so I think we are going to plan on going to a rally in Texas with the Heart of Texas Camping Unit the first week-end in Dec. Should be fun decorating the trailer for Christmas!

Debi, you're making sense with your suggestion of pushing it to later in April, or even May.

Lived here for 25 years, and the weather can be cold (snow) or decent (60's) in April.

Charles and I really enjoyed at Fall in Branson, thanks for all the hard work everyone did to make the so enjoyable. We look forward to Spring in Branson. We will be looking for a date to put on the calendar. A date in May (mid) would work best for us.

Brad, sorry you and Zell had to leave early but I understand when work calls, the boss needs to be kept happy

Shane, did you get the email addresses you needed?

I think all the Email addresses are in now. Can we get a confirm on that from the email guy lol. Are there any objections for the weekend of May 5th? If we do that weekend who would like to go with the Cinco de Mayo theme? I was thinking if we do this our dinner can be split up by people cooking each part of a meal and we put them all together for some tacos and fajitas. At dinner we can do a Sombrero contest. Gee I wonder who makes the best margarittas? I am pointing my finger at Brad!
Lets get a date set soon so the calls and letters can be made and sent for prizes. I know 7 months is a long way off but the more we get done now the less stress we have later.

That sounds good to me! Zell is the better bartender of the two but we can make a good margarita! What does everyone else think?

You should have received the updated attendee list, I sent it last night. As I explained in the email, all the email addresses are correct except for Nan's, but Ken's is correct. Sounds like Spring Rally is starting to gel some. Hope it's as good as the one we just had!

Oh and might be a good idea for ONE PERSON to start ONE new thread titled for the Spring rally and move the discussion. It will help to get that over with early so as not to confuse new comers...or me. :-)
